The contents of the box consist of a lunch dish, a drink and a dessert. The menu is determined based on the seasonal ingredients and food, drink and dessert are put together based on which flavors suit each other.

Those who are awarded the Pilgrimsskreppa are, through a text on the food package, invited into the nearly thousand-year-old pilgrimage tradition when they eat the food in its contents. The box is also decorated with QR codes for an audio guide and for our local food profile, as well as a map of all the pilgrimage routes in Norway. The audio guide is a medieval walk in the city center and our local profile also refers to all the local food producers we have partnered with.
